You'll have to install tetex and the other stuff yourself but this should at least get LyX working. I don't know much about making these packages so please be careful but here is a link to it anyway: http://www.mooload.com/new/file.php?file=files/170606/1150542625/lyx-1.4.1.tar.gz You need to install LibGL (http://www.murga.org/~puppy/viewtopic.php?p=9685) aspell (http://www.murga.org/~puppy/viewtopic.php?t=7968) You may also need to install Qt and Aiksaurus (http://noforum.de/dotpups/mixed/aiksaurus.pup) but I'm not 100% sure because I installed them before running LyX. There might be a problem with permissions - if so, set the permissions for lyx and tex2lyx and config. Enjoy!
